ASOP has some real useful tips and resources for all members of the Orthopaedic community, since 2008, iv’e read and learned some helpful ways to encourage my peers and student’s to be engaged in what they learn and to pass on that information to others as well, the more education you have in your specialty the better information you’ll be able to pass to others and make it easier for them to understand.without all the words that can confuse others that are just learning the ropes as a technologist.
This is a great organization to a part of for those of you involved in the orthopedic field.

As an ASOP member opportunities have been opened as cast trainer and mentor for our growing staff. The knowledge gained with my certification i can stand with my orthopedic surgeon and discuss xrays, fractures and treatments. R.O.T. has opened doors. I look forward to teaching in Cincinnati.
